Representatives

Make your opinion count!

By longstanding policy, the Colorado Rifle Club does not engage in political activity and is completely non-partisan.  However, with gun issues more important than ever before in Congress and the Legislature, members should make their feelings known.  Individual letters or postcards are far more effective than petitions or mass mailings of preprinted cards.  Write, call or e-mail your Congressperson, U.S. Senators, Colorado Legislators and Senators, Governor Owens and your local newspaper editor.  Tell them what YOU think.  It is said the White House never does anything without consulting the polls, so letter or calls there will be effective, too.  When one of your elected people votes the way you want, write or call to thank him/her.  This lets them know you are paying attention and will remember them at election time.  Addresses and phone numbers are available in the Government white pages of the phone book (also see the links below...).
