Small Bore Prone Summer League

This year the Summer League will consist of two league competitions fired simultaneously. The first will consist of 100 shot matches. The second will be a full 160 shot course. Both series are open to all competitors, both junior and senior. There are no entry requirements for either series except the desire to compete and have a good time.

There will be no classifications in the 100 shot series. Scores will for each shooter will be handicapped with the handicap calculated using 80% of the difference between the shooters’ average and a perfect score. Master classified shooters will receive no handicap.

For the dedicated shooter, the 160 shot series will follow traditional NRA rules with classifications. Senior shooters may fire any sights every week.

Shooters entering the 160 shot league will be automatically entered into the 100 shot match using the first target fired in the 100yd, 50m and 50yd matches along with the Dewar match total. Competitors can opt for the course of fire each day of shooting.

Time: All firing will start at 9:00 a.m. local time with squadding at 8:30 a.m.

Cost; $5.00 for each day of shooting or $30 package for all Matches.

Awards: Match 5 each day; 1st Place for the 100 shot course. 1st Place for each class in the 160 shot course. A class will be established with a minimum of three shooters in a classification. Classifications with less than three shooters will be combined into the next higher class. Competitors shooting in 4 or more of the daily matches will be eligible for League Awards at the end of the season.

Location: All firing will be conducted on the Colorado Rifle Club small bore range located north of Byers, CO

Competitors will score targets and the designated Range Officer will record the scores.
